Automated Finger Print Identification System

During last three years there has been a paradigm shift in the security perception in Pakistan globally which has resulted in very high demand for complete revision of business processes and flow of information channels between all departments which are in one way or the other linked with law enforcement departments in Pakistan.

Technically advanced countries specially USA and European countries can also afford a number of technology based solutions better tools and services in capacity building of human resources and over all infrastructure to combat organized crimes.

 

1. State of the art system to be provided by the USG.
2. Installation of main equipment and software is awaited from USG.
3. Training of 180 persons in 5 batches completed (Jan – Feb, 2003) – Kits distributed by FBI.
4. Over 1,75,000 (10 point finger print cards) are ready to be fed into the system.
5. Office spaces earmarked in HQs.
6. Teams to be sent to provincial prisons for on-ground operations/ training of prison staff.
